  1. Take him at his word on anything involving power, money or personal gains.

  2. Twas wise for this country to hitch their wagon on this orange star /s

  3. This is the fascist the ammosexuals have been hoarding their guns to defend against, yet they’re lining up en mass to lick his boots.

  4. It’s cliche at this point, but … Can you imagine if Joe Biden or Barack Obama or any Democrat said this?

  5. Dictators never give up power willingly.

A dictator on day 1, will be a dictator every day after that until they are forced to leave.

  6. “He already said that.”
    “He’s got alzheimer’s.”

  7. How long will the “one day” last? If he gets back in, that toddler won’t leave. Vote because, if you don’t, we won’t get another chance.

  8. Didn’t wicked Palpatine get emergency powers that he didn’t give up? Dictators don’t give up power. Trump would end up calling those who oppose him Rebel scum.

I have been watching Star Wars.

But yea, Trump is running for dictator. Both sides are not the same. Vote out Republicans.

  9. >“**I said, I’m going to be a dictator for one day**,” he recalled, adding that in his telling he’d meant that he’d use his dictatorial powers to seal the US-Mexico border and somehow order increases in fossil fuel production on his first day back in the White House.
    >
    >**The ex-president again complained about press coverage of his prior remarks**, accusing media outlets of failing to report that he’d limited his dictatorial ambitions to his first day in office.

    *Trump says ridiculous thing*

    *The Press reports ridiculous thing*

Trump: “The media is **so unfair!**”

  10. I’d love for someone to debate him but ONLY use a script of direct quotes from Trump himself lol

  11. How does this not constitutionally disqualify a person from running?

  12. > The disgraced former president, who is currently facing more than 90 felony charges in four separate jurisdictions and is scheduled to go on trial in March for attempting a coup to keep himself in office after losing the 2020 election, promised to spend his first day of a second term ruling as an autocrat during a town hall broadcast on Fox News ahead of the first-in-the-nation Iowa caucuses.

This is just an insane paragraph that would have been unimaginable 10 years ago. And you could make it sound even crazier is adding in that he’s the current GOP frontrunner by a huge margin.

  13. What this stupid fuck meant to say was… “from DAY ONE I will be a dictator!”

  14. He has the mind and maturity of a toddler, and I sincerely apologize to all the toddlers of the world that I am insulting.

“I SAID I WILL BE A DICTATOR FOR ONE DAY ONLY SO ITS NOT BAD!!!!”

  15. In a stunning move the UnAmerican MAGAnutz still don’t care. So as always it up to those with more then half a brain to share for the whole cult to make sure this gets laughed at. Who’s really gunna vote for a weak dictator tho?

  16. I wonder where all of the “Emperor Obama” folks are at now

  17. I am so afraid of Trump becoming a dictator and turning us into an empire. ☹️

  18. I love that after 4 years of failure, he’s going to build the wall and “drill baby drill” all the oil in one day. Loser J.Trump.

  19. Left wingers not voting Biden are worse than the people who are begging for this.

You know better, stop being immature and join the rest of us voting Biden to save us from this guy ever having power again. They’re coming for you next after dealing with immigrants and lgbtq. Wake up for real

  20. That’s the equivalent of saying ” I’ll just put the tip in”

  21. What a shit head. The original comment was probably a complete surprise to Trump himself, an exceptionally stupid answer to Hannity softball question. Once he said it though, he has to dig in on it, because the option of walking anything back doesn’t exist to him, so he just keeps digging, and now he’s explaining all the things he plans to actually do on his single dictator day.

What he would do on the dictator day that he couldn’t do any other day would be a good follow-up, now that he’s committed. Also, what happens if you give an order on Dictator Day but at midnight it’s not entirely completed, and there are still some brown people left or whatever. Does the initiative carry over into regular-president days, or does he have to start over using legal means?

  22. Genie grants you one wish: I’ll take unlimited wishes.
Trump says he will be dictator for 1 day: Day 1, decides to be dictator for life.

  23. This is a good time to highlight that this is what the large majority of Republican voters want. Also important to note that even though Trump may not be some Republicans first choice, they will fall in line and vote for him if he wins the primaries.

All this to say it’s less about the Republican candidate you need to worry about. The Republican voters have shown that it’s their way by any means necessary. That won’t change with the candidate. It will get worse before it gets better.

  24. Trump already thinks the president is a dictator.

He’s in court arguing that a sitting president can murder opposing candidates without repercussions.

  25. For the record, if he wins and does become dictator.. I expect the USA to succumb to all the sanctions put on other dictator counties like NK and Russia. Ain’t no way we are going to live in a society where one dictator gets more than the other. Quite literally, sanction the shit out of usa if Trump wins. Accept the blow to economy and carry on.

  26. Come on Gen Z!! We have faith that you’ll help vote these people out!!

  27. States like Iowa are neo nazi strongholds at this point, and it’s where he can safely float this idea again. Pay attention to what he feels comfortable saying in certain areas.

  28. Hopefully this comes to haunt him once we get into the primaries. The dude is basically as unamerican as it gets.

  29. On day one, not one day… for the love of America please vote blue.

  30. >he also told the nearly all-white crowd of Iowans that “no” terrorists entered the US during his term.

That’s because he doesn’t need to import them when he makes them domestically

  31. At the end of the day, even if you are die-hard MAGA… they will not say it out loud, but Trump failed his first term.

Trump promise a wall that he could not even get his own party to fund. He promised to “fix” immigration. He promised to restore the US to a “more respected state internationally”. One and one and one.

And what happened? None of it. Does Trump deny that? Not at all. He is going around saying that the US is a laughing stock internationally. That the illegal immigration issue is basically a sign of the end of times. And that the government is far more corrupt than you can even imagine.

As a MAGA, you want to blame it on the deep state holding him back? Fine. But Trump promised to drain the swamp and fix the government.

Want to blame things on “COVID lies”? Fine. But Trump was in charge, kept Fauci in charge, and aggressively pushed for the vaccines.

If you think that Trump accomplished plenty, maybe you have to wonder how it was so trivially reversed. Why 4 years was not enough for him to “make America great”. And you might have a nagging thought in the back of your mind “He did not manage this before… can he really do what he is promising and fix everything without even needing the full 4 years to do it?”

That’s what Trump’s team is warning him about. Turnout may be seriously impacted if a portion of his voters are demoralized and have given up in the system. If they think the rest of the GOP will pump the breaks and thwart Trump’s plans again.

And so… his strategy is predictable. This time will be different. He will not let the “corrupt” government get in his way. He is making promises and he will use every ounce of his power, and every possible loophole in the law, to make them happen. He has that plan to completely gut the government and replace them with loyalists. He promises to become a dictator to forcibly close boarders, and whatever else he decides needs to be done.

Will he try to do all of that? Probably. Will it do damage? Certainly. Will he manage to completely get around the courts and the other branches of government? Probably not. Not unless there is a massive MAGA wave. But he desperately needs to convince his base that it will happen, and it will work.

Only time will tell hoe effective that approach is, of course. He stopped caring about courting the other side of the political aisle a long time ago, so he does not care what this is doing for the majority of voters. But it is hard to imagine a better way for him to improve Democrat turnout. He is promising that next time around will be much worse. Literally that he will abuse his power to get his way and keep his promises to his base.

He is making easy work for his opponents.

The “smart” move would be to do this just to get nominated, and then stop making those remarks. Give the voter base several months to forget them. Let their motivation to vote dwindle. But, as I said, I think Trump just does not care. He team’s gamble seems to be that they can win with nothing but Republican votes. And, to be fair, he almost pulled it off last time.

  32. He’s a fucking moron and this whole thing is going to end very badly for him.

  33. Imagine if he was attached to a lie detector while taking his oath of office.

  34. I wish some of the people that go around Trump rallies would ask them “What if Trump decided on his ‘first day’ to send someone to your home and kill your entire family? Because that’s something that dictators do.”

  35. This grotesque creep has a reality slap coming.

  36. Conservatives: Biden is a tyrant.

    Trump: Make me a dictator.

Conservatives: Wow, Trump is a true American hero.

  37. “LOL, he was just joking, he doesn’t want him to be dictator… I can’t wait until he is dictator” – trump cult members

  38. I feel like trump is the ultimate cia psyop. Imagine studying the effects of this guy on the human psyche. Want to understand large scale social dynamics?

  39. If he’s saying he will violate the constitution, isn’t it anyone who swore to defend the constitution, both foreign and domestic, duty to remove that person?
