  1. Copied this from someone in the r/soccer thread:

**JUV BOL** is the foul on Ndoye in the penalty area (right call should’ve been OFR and then penalty for BOL) that wasn’t deemed as OFR-worthy and it was definitely a mistake and Rocchi confirmed it and said specifically that the VAR dismissed the case too quickly.

**MON LEC** is the red card for Baschirotto (right call should’ve been yellow card for Baschirotto) that wasn’t overturned with the OFR which Rocchi commented on saying that the call on the field by the referee was actually right because of the speed and the harshness of the tackle, but it should’ve been overturned with the help of the replay because Baschirotto hit the ball first and didn’t try to commit to the tackle after and tried to take back his leg.

**SAS JUV** is the yellow card for Berardi (right call should’ve been OFR and then red card for Berardi) that wasn’t deemed as OFR-worthy because VAR thought the contact was minimal (quoting VAR, Berardi only scraped the leg of Bremer). Rocchi confirmed that even though the contact would’ve been considered minimal, the tackle was way over the ankle and there is no intention from Berardi to play for the ball, so that was an automatic red card.

**MON BOL** is the overruled goal of Ferguson on the field (right call should’ve been OFR and then confirmed goal for Ferguson) that wasn’t deemed as OFR-worthy because the VAR confirmed that the contact between Zirkzee and Caldirola was a foul. What Rocchi confirmed as an error is the fact that Zirkzee is clearly playing to win over the ball, so the contact shouldn’t be considered a foul.

**GEN JUV** is the yellow card for Malinovskyi (right call should’ve been OFR and then red card for Malinovskyi). Pretty much the same dinamic as Berardi. Rocchi in this occasion confirmed the firm stance on punishing tackles over the ankle to preserve the footballers’ health over anything.

**GEN INT** is the confirmed goal of Arnautovic (right call should’ve been at least OFR, no clear stance on the overrule or not) that wasn’t deemed as OFR-worthy because the push from Bisseck was thought to be minimal. What Gervasoni said is that the stance of AIA is that every two-hands push during an APP that leads to a goal has to be reviewed with an OFR.

**INT VER** is the confirmed goal of Frattesi (right call should’ve been OFR and then overruled goal because of Bastoni’s foul) that wasn’t deemed as OFR-worthy, no idea why because the audio hasn’t been released yet. What I think happened is either VAR not going back enough to the foul or VAR thinking that the contact was minimal, but even then the foul is evident and Bastoni is doing a motion more coherent to MMA than to football.

**SAS FIO** is the overruled goal of Thorstvedt with OFR (right call should’ve been either no OFR or no overrule) that was first deemed OFR-worthy and then overruled because Matheus Henrique, who was offside, was thought to be influent enough by both the VAR and the referee during the shot. This is an big error from start to finish: first of all, VAR can’t call for OFR when there is an offside, because it is an objective call so they have to make the decision themselves; second of all, Matheus Henrique is not on the line of sight of the goalkeeper so his position is irrelevant for the goal.

  2. Could anyone explain me why bisseck on strootman is a mistake but lookman on dimarco vs Atalanta is not?
