Such sad news are less popular than mocking Russian army.
It also shows how hypocritical are politicians, sending help with money to Ukraine with one hand and sending money to putler with another.
I wonder were allies buying resources from Hitler back in the days?
As long as india is getting the money, and not Russia, I’m ok with it.
“Buy them in rupees”
India gets Euros to spend. They pay Russia in Rupees. Russia has no where to spend Rupees.
Isn’t the point that we don’t want Russia to stop selling, as long as they must sell it cheap? If the market don’t get Russian oil it creates defecits, high prices, desperate buyers and increase the chance of smuggling?
Loopholes 😂 BRICS on the move
India has really fucked up big this time. They have been and they are co-conspirators and we will not forget and not forgive this.
This is the point, though. Keep global prices stable while hurting Russia as much as possible. This isn’t new and has been discussed at length before.
Better than killing Africans I guess.
Now this is not great, but it’s India that’s making bank here, not Russia. Russia is selling crude to India at not great rates and in Rupees (further hurting the Ruble), and then India is refining the oil and selling the refined products to Europe which is where the money is made.
Russia is basically making no money. India is forcing them trade in Rupees as well. Then we trade with India in Dollars. So Russia still loses, believe me. Russia has stacks of Ruppess and Yuan now which is no use to them. India and China refuse to trade in Ruble, so this is not in Russia’s interest. Also India is its own power it stands alone in that region it has no reason to do anything in the interests of the US but that’s not to say its hostile either, it’s just looking after itself its nothing personal.
Russia getting 30% more money than before sanctions from oil and india getting filthy rich. That went well.
I know nothing about this, but i would think oil can be geotraced by its composition. How hard would it be to check and sanction resellers of russian oil?
