Hello there,
I will get an salary increase this month and i planned my finances. Is there something standing out as bad?
I do have 5k for emergencies on the personal savings account.
A also have minimum of 1k in the salary account to pay for bills on a dayli basis.
I don’t buy many clothes so i put that expenditure in the discretionary income basket.
I live at home and get some free food there, i Pay my mom 600 CHF.
The biggest “dumb” thing i have done is the following:
My mom bought a tesla for me and i gotta Pay here back on 0% interest rate.
Soo private transport is 666(500 car and 166 for electricity) i would otherwise pay for 500CHF of gas each month and less on the car, due to my long commuting way.
I have consider to go with public transport but that would cost me 3h each day compared to 1h 15min with the car each day.

Is your 500/m including insurance and taxes? And I assume you don’t have to pay for parking? Sounds like a pretty great deal to me if that’s the case. Public transports would be cheaper but clearly a worse quality of life. Health insurance is high but it’s going to depends on whether you have health issues and where you live. The easiest to optimise is internet imo. 80 for a mobile subscription is crazy, you should be able to easily halve that, probably 1/4 it depending on what you need exactly. And why do you pay for DSL? Don’t your mom has internet at home? You could find cheaper as well.
Nice savings. Keep grinding!
