Walker showed signs of decline last year and for years hasn’t been able to keep it in his pants.
Why didn’t we move on?
Pep going to make the necessary adjustments for the 2nd half. Would love to see KDB come on.

Honestly if Pep tells Gvardiol and Walker to just defend we don’t have 90% of the defensive issues we do this season. It’s almost always a result of the LB or RB being toasted on a counter because they’re 40 yards away from where they should be.
Considering they have combined for about 0 goals and 4 assists compared to 200 errant passes in the final third this season, I don’t know what it is Pep is seeing there.
Imagine making Walker your club captain who is less bothered in the entire pitch and on top of that image extending him but saying no to Gundo. This decision was absolutely blunder.
Does the premier league sub now not make threads for city games?
With our lack of clinical nature in the final third, there’s no point to playing this rapid up and down game. Newcastle win the basketball game every single time. Stop fucking turning the ball over when our backline are pushed up.
Rodri should be captain. Our most natural leader and probably the best player in the world
Kyle walker too worried about his marriage to try and block two shots tonight. He should be doing better on both those goals.
Just need to finish our chances and not be brain dead on defense and we will be right back in this thing

3 good goals, can argue who could have done what more and when but it is what it is now.
2nd half City is going to put it right. We have been way to casual in transition in our half and defence in general have been to chilled at time.

I am stuck on why Pep decided Walker should start over Lewis.
Even if Walker insisted he was fine and 100% focused, Pep isn’t a novice, he knows that players often lie to themselves and/or their managers. He had to see that there was a larger than normal chance Kyle would not be completely mentally on the pitch, which given his role in our defence, and the way Newcastle were likely to play, would be a huge issue.
And you could see Newcastle were specifically targeting his side from the off.
Just makes no sense to me.
Then again, this is in retrospect, so it is obviously easier to say now.
Will we ever deal with a long ball over the top?? Please stop the flashbacks
Drop Silva back to RB bring on kev have foden on the wing and get walker off
With Haaland injured it’s hard to find someone to cross to
We need that Bruno G red card but this ref won’t give it.
Isak goal was a great attack from them, but that Gordon goal was mostly avoidable had Walker done his job
