Arron Banks vs Carole Cadwalladr shows how badly UK is failing press freedom

  1. Sounds like they are suggesting that Aaron Banks shouldn’t avail himself of the protection that the law provides. If she broke the law by defaming him then she should face the consequences, right?

Surely the open democratic thing to do would be to wait for the law to run its course and respect the judges decision?

  2. Carole Cadwalladr started off as a fairly educated voice and good source of information on the Cambridge Analytica scandal. As time went on she turned into a complent quack, her views became increasingly extreme and unfounded, broad conspiricy theories and accusations were thrown around. She defamed Aaron Banks on multiple occasions and without a shred of evidence to back these claims up, she deserves to feel consequences of her actions.
