No, you economic illiterate. There isn’t an economically rational democrat in Congress: House OR Senate.
Firstly you would need to dive down and find out what percent are just structures people are buying real estate in and are not large corporations buying real estate. Second we need to talk about the fed and how interest rates screw with all of this.
In my anecdotal experience. It’s better to have a corporate landlord rather than private if you rent. If corporations didn’t buy all those most would’ve still went to people as second or third homes.
Legislate a federal property tax on multiple properties, make it progressive too for more properties.
