I don’t want to be that guy, but I’m really concerned by these numbers. I’m frontline nurse since 1983. I’m immunocompromised so although I’ve had 3 x vax my actual booster due 25/01. Caught it from my (fully vaxxed) retail worker daughter 6 days ago, (I’m positive antigen x every day lol & super symptomatic) – she is now day 10 & out of isolation. Neither of us have even received a DATE for pcr test & im expected back to work Monday. The testing system seems to have completely collapsed & for the first time I doubt the case numbers (still behind the hospitalisation/ICU cases, they are much more accurate) – omicron is fecking EVERYWHERE, after 2 years I genuinely thought I’d dodged it. Please, PLEASE continue to take care, I’ve had a ‘mild’ case but honestly wouldn’t wish it on anyone
