One victim shot dead, five injured in Iowa school shooting

There are six victims one of them who is deceased that individual was a sixth grade student at Perry Middle School the other five are being treated at area hospitals four of the surviving student four of the Vic surviving victims are students and the fifth is a school administrator

“Multiple” gunshot victims were found by law enforcement officers responding to an active shooter call at a high school in Iowa on Thursday 4 January.

  1. This is not even shocking any longer. It's expected.

    The worst part is that all school-aged children are taught that they could very well be shot at school and need to drill for it, much like kids in 1950s did with Duck and Cover drills.

    Every child's innocence is taken away from them. Imagine being 5 years and older and needing to learn to play dead to save yourself? The mistrust it instills in you towards your fellow humans.

    Put a fork in us. We're done.

  2. Maybe the fact that his sexual orientation made him a victim of bullying and ridicule could have pushed him over the edge? Being a teenager in this day and age is difficult enough not to mention being gay in podunk, small town Iowa and this will happen.

Americans dont care about these kids until its their kids as long as they can keep their guns so this will never stop happening because of people who are selfish and refuse to see the bigger picture if it effects them. Every school massacre around the world who banned guns have never hada school shooting since, obviously you cant get rid of every gun on the street but every gun used is towards other criminals which is still rare because they cost a fortune and you only get to use it once because getting caught with it gives you extra charges and you will lose it so once its used its sold so the public never get shot unless its shot into the public which is extremely rare. Theres no point having these conversations because its like arguing with a fire to stop burning things
