Troubles: Police ‘failed to warn murder victims about threats’

  1. I don’t think anybody on this side of the Irish sea is any way surprised by this.

Good to see it being reported though. Hopefully it’ll raise some awareness of the shit that was going on.

  2. What should have been expected, “Hi, we’re coming to kill you later, we just need to go home and change out of our police and army uniforms first”?

  3. > its report uncovered no evidence police had prior knowledge of any of the shootings.

At the time of withdrawal from their colonies, the British state made sure all evidence and documents of any of their undisclosed crimes would be destroyed. The same thing happened, and is happening here.

    * The evidence for the shoot-to-kill policy in Ireland was destroyed at Gough Barracks just after the signing of the GFA because the RUC claimed those particular documents had asbestos and were therefore a health hazard.

    * Lord Stevens led an investigation into collusion, including in the murder of Pat Finuncane and sure enough the files he amassed were destroyed in a mysterious fire in the most secure police building in the world near Carrickfergus.

    * Judge Cory was leading an investigation into security force collusion when M15 came to his home and demanded the hard drives with evidence be handed over. When they were returned, they’d been wiped clean.

    * At least 19 ‘highly sensitive’ files on the Kincora boys home have been sealed from the public for 66 years and I’m sure when the time comes they’ll go up in smoke too.

  4. The BBC are obviously sympathizers to British terrorists as they aided in presenting the false flag attacks as being claimed by the IRA.

  5. These articles always make for very tough reading. Unfortunately its just completely ignored by the loyalists in the north. No apologies or admission of guilt. Incredible with their crying these days. They haven’t a clue what being a victim actually looks and feels like.
