COVID-19: Sajid Javid directly challenged on mandatory coronavirus jabs by unvaccinated NHS doctor

  1. It really isn’t a good look for the Tories that they’re firing thousands of BAME staff during a pandemic.

  2. For those who actually read the article its about vaccination vs natural infection. Whilst vaccination is accepted it should also be the case natural immunity is.

That is unless the government wish to mandate vaccines every few weeks for NHS staff because they do not even want the risk of passing on the disease (which will need regular boosters). However they are not doing so. So I don’t see how the point of the unvaccinated doctor is unreasonable.

  3. Respect to the doctor, was poorly handled by Sajid Javid.

I’ll downvote myself to get the ball rolling.

  4. The biggest concern with this is that the Health Secretary of the UK, can’t provide a solid response to an expected challenge on a policy that’s detrimental to the careers of many NHS workers.

Surely should be able to explain the science behind such an impacting policy?

  5. If i’m ill in hospital, i hope i don’t get a visit from a reckless health ‘professional’ like this. Now i’m starting to see why so many people are catching Covid in hospitals.

  6. Why not just get the vaccine. Even if you have had covid there is no harm. Anti-vax people probably shouldn’t be working in health care tbh.

  7. I wish it was more obvious why this doctor doesn’t want to get vaccinated – he doesn’t appear to articulate why, just use the “Djokovic” defence that he’s already had it.

Is he suggesting that there is a negative to having the vaccine on top of previous infection? That he thinks the risks of side effects are too great? That the vaccination itself is “bad” and that people who haven’t had Covid shouldn’t get it either? Or just against the forced mandate on principle as a libertarian?

All of those are arguments to be had and can be discussed on their merits, but they are very different arguments.

He is already being used as the new poster child for the anti vax side, so it would be useful to know whether he really thinks no-one should get the vaccination, regardless of prior infection.

  8. I wouldn’t be surprised if the government are just if it’s just be done, to help the vaccine companies get richer from taxpayers money. Just like giving them an open cheque book, and boosting there share prices once again. I also wonder if the drug companies are making different versions of it, just to sell vaccines that are payed for by taxpayers money. In a time of this capitalist government, nothing like that would surprise me in the least. Boris Johnson is corrupt, the police is corrupt, and now wonder if the drug companies are corrupt. They say corruption starts at the top. So if a drug company can make a vaccine, I’m pretty sure they can make a virus. Check out the share price dates & charts of the top vaccine producers. Making sky high profits from taxpayers money.
