The official account of the Russian Foreign Ministry posted a collage of two photographs taken during a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak with Ukrainian soldiers. Both frames are authentic, but in its publication, the Russian Foreign Ministry circled Zelensky’s hand on Sunak’s shoulder in one photo and connected this outline to the tattooed hand of another person — a soldier embracing Sunak.

    The Russian Foreign Ministry captioned the collage: “A picture worth a thousand words: ‘There is no God,’ reads the tattoo. Indeed, for the godless Kyiv regime, neo-Nazis, and their belligerent Western sponsors, nothing is sacred. Hence PR moves over bones, persecution of Orthodox Christians, killing of journalists, etc.”
