  16. God I hate posts like this. Bashing players who were fantastic for us because they hurt KDB’s assist tally is not only disrespectful, it is also just flat out wrong.

    KDB did not underperform on his expected assists significantly when Jesus and Sterling were here and without their excellent movement he wouldn’t have nearly as many opportunities to play these balls in the first place.

    Don’t get why people can’t just appreciate KDB without having to put down other players.

  18. This is so unfair. Sterling in our top ten scorers in history and key player in domestic treble and centurion season. All players miss chances. keV has missed a few sitters in his day.

  20. Well, if you make a compilation of easy misses, even Aguero or Haaland will look crap. Or for every banger KDB scores from outside the box, he sends 5-6 to outer space. That doesn’t change the fact that Jesus or Sterling miss easy chances more than Aguero or Haaland, because they’re not natural finishers anyway.

    This is fun as a meme, but anyone seriously hating or disrespecting Jesus or Sterling can go fck themselves. They were integral in everything we won in the Pep era.
