  1. Despite his overwhelming popularity at the Iowa caucuses, Donald Trump can’t seem to keep a grip on his legal representation.

  2. I bet he is either not paying them or demanding they break the law or otherwise ruin their careers for him and they just can’t even anymore.

  3. He doesn’t care who he lawyers are as long as they can practice law (and by practice, I mean they have to keep practicing cuz they aren’t good at it) and he can tell them what to do. Think about it. Rudy Giuliani was once his attorney. Worst ever.

  4. >Trump “has the most experienced, qualified, disciplined, and overall strongest legal team ever assembled,” Cheung claimed, according to the outlet.

This is the same camp that called the team of Giuliani, Powell, and Ellis an “elite strike force.”

  5. Could be they are in cahoots with each other.
Trump is going to ask to the delay the case because he doesn’t have a lawyer.

  6. I suspect Tacopina Seigel and DeOreo required payment up-front for their representation; DJT’s minions probably haven’t contributed their beer and grocery money for the last few months so TSD believed in the wisdom of cutting their losses.

  7. “We will have to delay the trial while the defendant seeks representation.”

    Sigh.

  8. It looks like Donald dipped his head in a mostly empty bag of Cheetos.

  9. I can’t believe we’re letting an insurrectionist run for president like it’s normal as shit.

  10. Is it possible that he’s trying to get either mistrials or delays?

  11. Ok, he lost 3.

But if he had 1000, big deal.

If he had 4, well that would be news.

So how many lawyers does this loser currently employ???

  12. Wins 51% of the caucus and loses 95% of his legal cases. Hell of a ratio.

  13. Trump’s commitment to losing is pretty impressive.

  14. He’s working on delays

    Delay delay delay

    That’s the only strategy

Lawyers leaving is working as intended

    It’s always delay delay delay

  15. I wonder if something happened recently that would cause him to lose so many lawyers? Theory: January 1st retainers went unpaid and after 2 weeks of being ignored, motions to withdraw were filed.

    Thoughts?

  16. Is this a way to slow down court cases until after election, just wondering.

  17. > Despite his overwhelming popularity at the Iowa caucuses, Donald Trump can’t seem to keep a grip on his legal representation

For fucks sake he got **51%**.
He *barely* won a vote he was practically guaranteed to win.

Is this some new definition of ‘overwhelming’ I was not aware of or like

  18. There was a tipping point. I don’t know when it happened or exactly what caused it, but there was a point where Trump had good lawyers he fought with all the time.

His old lawyers were skilled evil lawyers. He fought with them because they tried to represent him in the best possible way. Get the best outcome for him.

But because Trump is evil AND stupid, the “best outcome for him” was always bad for him. Because he usually admitted his crimes and in doing so confessed to others. He wrote his crimes down, in emails, texts. He let people record him planning his crimes.

His lawyers would make one argument in court, then Trump would walk outside the courtroom to a press conference where he would disavow everything his lawyers just said.

He doesn’t do that anymore. He **auditions** his lawyers by telling them what HE thinks his strategy is in court, and they have to be willing to do it. Whatever ridiculous thing he says, they have to be willing to go along with it, proactively, in court, or they don’t get the job.

So now his lawyers are all idiots.

I don’t know if there was one thing that happened that caused this, or if it happened over time.

  19. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – would vote for him twice again – John Barron
