9. No. Tina Fey is successful because she has friends who are more talented than she is, and because she writes in a way that conflates and confuses being clever with (attempts at) being funny. She has also done some crazy shit, like shaming stripping as a profession randomly in a Vanity Fair interview; ruining a guy’s life by using his real name as a punchline in Mean Girls; voiced Pixar’s first black leading character, next to Jamie Fox being relegated to a blue amorphous one… I’m sure I missed other horrors, but the point is the world is probably ready for a big break from Tina Fey. Maybe we’ll get lucky and she’ll go make a western with her buddy Alec Baldwin.
