Right near me is the city of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. It’s name used to be Berlin, Ontario, named by the large number of German immigrants to the region. They had to change the name of the city because of the first World War, and I’m sure the local German population felt a little uncomfortable.
Any Russians that live in Canada and feel uncomfortable with displays of open support for a Ukrainian victory over Russia *should* feel uncomfortable. Canada stands with Ukraine and against tyrants, people who feel otherwise should not feel like they belong here.
