Russian army activity on the front lines has increased to levels seen last December.
– On the Svatove and Severodonetsk front, Russian units were more passive than before in their attack towards Kupiansk. A very large assault attempt was undertaken by the Russian army south towards the city of Lõman and even further south in the area of Bilohorivka village. There are no definite reports of Russian units’ progress yet, but such serious pressure on Ukrainian forces in this area has not been seen before.
– In the Bakhmut area, the Russian army is trying to get its offensive going, and the intensity of attacks has increased, but this has not brought clear success.
– Around Donetsk, the intensity of Russian army attacks remained high in both Avdiivka and Marinka areas, but they did not achieve noticeable results.
– On the southern front, Russian units made a series of attack attempts in the Tokmak area. There have been no major changes in the front line. The activity of Russian forces on the east bank of the Dnieper has decreased, and apparently, they are waiting for new reserves to continue with offensives.
