I’m not against high rise blocks at all. In fact I think they can be cool places to live. But that group of towers to me seems so cramped and boxed in, it makes me wonder what it’s like if you’re in one of the ‘inward facing’ apartments on a lower floor.

  1. I live in Nine Elms and love it but I seem to be in minority on reddit as I like high rises.

The area has plenty to do but more importantly its connected to central london well now we have Northern Line at Power Station.

Natural light will always be issue in high rises where there are alot around you. Like NYC also has that issue. Thats why higher floors often cost more to rent or buy.

  2. I think the general “living in high rise” isn’t an issue. The main problems with that area particularly is

    It’s expensive to rent

    There are massive service fees

Actually the shared public areas are in a terrible state

    Google “embassy gardens” problems.
