Well what was the pitch? There are a million different ways you could make a Barbie movie, and some of them are probably laughable. Also Sharon Stone is an actress she never wrote or directed why would she pitch anything?
It’s getting annoying how people use gerwigs films success as a reason to whine about the industry when if anything it should just be celebrated for the success it was.
