The madness of Belarusian justice

  1. Red-white is a major trigger for the regime dogs. Canadian, Polish, Vatican, Indonesian flag, TommyHilfiger colors, white socks with red logo, license plate frame, stickers, song in Ukrainian, Ukrainian colors – doesn’t matter, very high chance to get jailed after the court decision made via Skype. Get jailed and beaten just being in wrong place – reality of 2020 and after. One of the world’s most sanctioned countries with one of the worst freedom of speech. Fkuc Luka

  2. A notable reminder of what awaits should we not throw the Ivan back into their hole.

  3. When you want to say “literally 1984” but this time unironically.

  4. Lukashenko – the only person, as far as European leaders go, that I think is actually crazier than Putin.

  5. I can totally see 2 and 4 being intentional. People did similar things in Russia with blue and yellow.

  6. This was also how it was done in communist Romania. You’d get ,,lifted” (as an arrest requires a judge’s warrant) by the militia, thrown into a jail and beaten for years.

  7. I remember the last time I visited Belarus my grandma specifically warned me to not dare clap or I’ll be taken away. I think it was around 2010 or 2011 or something.

  8. No surprise, in the country where the dictator has already gotten a ignobel-prize in 2013 for his repression. Because his police force arrested a one-armed man, after they made it illegal to clap at protests…

And thus giving proof to the philosophical question about the sound of a one hand clap.
