    Not only he exchanged F-16 (or was it 35’s?) for s-400, they don’t perform as well as they’ve been marketed while Patriots overdeliver.

    Which could be completely wrong I admit 
    The patriots we sent were the older versions
    So don’t that make this a real world situation where it is appropriate to say:

    “This isn’t even my final form!”

  9. I worked at Raytheon when Patriot 2 was being developed. It was a big project. Interesting to see it 30 years later saving lives.

  12. Air defense was always considered the strong area of Soviet Union/Russia. They invested heavily in developing it, to counter western air power. And even in their strongest area, they are crap.

  13. Last year I went to Rzeszów, and I saw *some* Patriot batteries there (the most obvious were the launchers, that were MANY)… I can say that I felt protected.

  14. I remember when the first hypersonic missiles got shot down probably a year back and the USA basically said “I didn’t know they could do that, well done Ukraine!”.
