Funny enough trump did squabble with germany about the gas pipeline between germany and russia saying they were potentially funding a future war but i think his rhetoric ab ending the war is entirely ego and rly just lip service to his party. Gotta say tho obama, trump and biden all asked nato to meet their % of military funding and none of them took it seriously until russia invaded ukraine.
