I’m an Icelander living in Finland. Iceland is the land where people actually believe in elves (huldufólk). You’re mixing your Nordics up. Finland has witches, trolls and necks, maybe some tonttus in the north but I would never call it a land of elves
Helsinki is in South of Finland next to sea so this amount of snow isn’t the norm. I mean there often is snow but it also melts often with temperature changes. And the melted snow isn’t so pretty looking.
