People do not want to hear how climate change is human-driven an destroying nature, nor how cruel animal agriculture is. It is sad but people would rather remain in denial and wilfully ignorant about how their actions have impacted nature. It forces people to admit that they are not as ethical as they claim to be, creating shame in them. He is honest and does thankless work, which people hate because it is easier to hate than to change your own behaviour.
