Hey guys,
My friend is a student in Germany offered her services to take care of animals while their owners away and she bumped into this very rude lady as you can see in the sc.
My question is
1) It’s unbelievable that I ask this but it’s Germany so you never know – Do you actually need a license to feed someone’s cat?
2) From what amount do you have to declare a freelance work, say she earn 200 euros as a one time thing for a week she has to report it?
Thank you very much 🙂

It doesn’t matter what service/work you do. If you offer to work for someone and receive payment then you need to a) be allowed to work as a self employed person in the first place (international students on residence permits are not allowed to freelance) and b) you need to report your income and – if applicable – pay taxes on your income..
