Ukraine using US/NATO cluster munitions on civilian areas that are also illegal under international law is a major possible grave escalation that could result in a full conventional war by Russia that up until now has used restraint primarily in the Donbass oblast region of de-militrisation of NATO backed forces from Russia's borders. Either their commander and chief Zelensky has committed a grave war crime or he's not in control of his military that conducted this operation. Either seems a desperate tactic with no significant military objective here. Just wasted tens of millions of dollars of military stock on a civilian street.
