I’ve seen this – or a programme very like it – and it was marginally interesting.
Channel 5 would show monkey tennis if we let them
There was a fucking programme on comparing them to cookers and microwaves the other week too.
Had one years ago when they all kicked off, was alright. Got used for a few weeks then never seen again. Missus decided to buy that big daft £300 ninja thing a few months ago. Similar story, gets used occasionally but I still much prefer the oven – apart from its that big it just sits on the bench taking up space.
If Channel 5 then minus all the advert breaks equals to about 35 minute program with of course ‘refreshers’ after each advert break highlighting the eight minutes of the program before the break…..
At least Channel 5 are diversifying from their usual run of programmes about trains, cruise ships, Yorkshire and benefits claimants.
It would be three hours long if they had made it in the oven.
I remember once tuning into what I thought was a Van Gogh documentary but being confused by the fact that it was only mentioning one specific painting. That’s what it was about – it was about whether one specific painting owned by a billionaire was actually a fake or not. Then, at the end, the conclusion was that we may never know. Most pointless thing I’ve ever watched.
It’s channel five and they’re well known for disguising ads as documentarys or ‘informational’ shows.
I don’t know…. I’m kind of interested
Last night an air fryer saved my life.
Air fryers are pretty cool, though.
Much more convenient than having to heat up your oven using all of that powahh before you can cook yourself some dinner, then there’s setting a timer because the one on your oven is so confusing to set.
The air fryer does it all! All hail the air fryer!
Me. Ffs. And it’s fucking shite. I’m enduring such epitaphs as “would you believe you can cook a stir-fry in an air fryer?!?”. Yes. Yes I would
I could have done with this before my first go with a air fryer. Shocked at how little time it took due to the fact I have to turn on my cooker 2 hours before for warmth. Best invention yet
Of course it’s Channel 5. It’ll be Air Frying With Jane McDonald next.
Air Friers – *First Aired* pun intended
Air Fryers on Benefits
Why does everywhere make it seem like it’s a recent invention? Did I miss them going viral suddenly for some reason?
I’ve had an air fryer for well over a decade, I’ve had it so long it broke and I had to replace it a year ago. I use it 3 or 4 times a week, mostly for doing chips.
I don’t know the show but surely it’s just a cooking show and they do it all in an air fryer… plenty other cooking shows out there
The last 1 hour special about air fryers was not the best, not watching another
Is it an actual documentary or is it an infomercial?
If they call in all the people that obsessively talk about them no stop, it will last for a couple of seasons at least. We talking 45 minutes long episodes, at least 20 of them each season.
Btw did you know that warming up your bread in the air fryer makes it absolutely delish? Even better than right out of the bakery! You are totally missing out!! /s
Nobody is watching that, because every fucka has already got one.
