It’s colour looks weird. It looks like a shadow.
Proper creeped me out today. It’s a first for me tbh….used to the male wolf spiders in October. Not huge beasts like this…..
They are very lethargic at this time of year, have a couple hanging around as well
My guess is the females are more elusive and dangerous. It had a huge web and was happy
I’d spray a full can of raid into the place and then run and hide while crying

Tegenaria domestica. Big and scary looking but very docile and likely to flee if you disturb her. I used to be terrified of spiders but am much better now. I had one of them living in the corner of my office room last year.
Lepus timidus hibernicus, the Irish Hare. This is one beautiful example of a lagomorph. Put him in a box with shredded newspaper and some carrots and show the kids in the neighborhood.
I’m going to need a banana for scale. I can’t tell if it’s massive, far away and cropped or small and close to the camera.
That spider is large and far away, this spider is small and cropped.
And I yelled, I said “What do you want from us monster?!”
And the monster bent down and said “I need about treefiddy.”
