Have been following this development closely for a while as after l got out of the military l spent a few years Contracting & while working in Israel was shown their efforts in ‘repurposing’ older missiles for a cheaper alternative in their Iron Dome system,specifically to counter the Drone threat.
Like wise with Saudi’s who were constantly chewing through available Patriot missiles for their battery’s & were using aircraft efficiently & far cheaper to counter Drone threats .
