Richest 1% of UK households are worth at least £3.6m each

  1. And for that little extra twisting of the blade:

    >Advani also said ONS data was likely to vastly underestimate the share of wealth going to the richest households because the data does not include business wealth, and because “the very wealthy do not tend to respond to such surveys”.

  2. Only £3.6m? The poor wee dears. Is there a gofundme?

I can’t imagine the hardship these thought leaders are suffering. Those with almost nothing must do more to dig deep and help our thought leaders drive the new paradigms to synergy and thus greater profits for shareholders.

  3. Global stockmarkets are up 63% in the last 3 years. So 2.2m 3 years ago would be 3.6m now. It is a huge transfer of wealth.

  4. It is unfortunate that whilst money and capital possessions exist, some will always have more (and a lot more) than others.

What’s really important is how those with such assets behave in society.

Are they generous? Are they guided by good morals? Are they honest, trustworthy? Are they fuck. Tories to the last one for sure.

A gross oversimplification, I agree. But a nugget of truth perhaps.
