  1. Hmm, so it looks like there are concerns here, funny that. Experts on the previous article about this clinic on this sub were quick to put any worries to bed and tell detractors how misinformed they were. Almost like this is a topic that is far from resolved with differences on opinion and needs more thought.

  2. Interesting article, if a little vague.

    >Some clinicians working on the new training materials are understood to have felt it important to affirm a patient’s gender identity and believed patients could benefit from medication. Others, some of whom resigned their posts, stressed the need to adhere to Cass’s recommendations and take a holistic, “exploratory” approach.

  3. It will be pretty easy to spot the comments by those who genuinely care about trans children and those more interested in ‘point scoring’ off them.

  4. The treatment of gender/gender identity as a medical concern is the lobotomy of our age, the ‘multiple personalities’ of our age, the ‘possessed by demons’ of our age.

It is entirely meaningless to assert that a person’s gender identity doesn’t align with their sex/sex assigned at birth; as meaningless as saying that their personality doesn’t match their face, or their sense of humour doesn’t match their blood type.

If people want to play around with this modern day astrology, that’s up to them, but all the while unnecessary medical interventions – both major and minor – are being carried out on young people, who are going to have to live with the consequences of those interventions for the rest of their lives.
