  1. I was full of excitement after reading the first few words and then …

  2. The dust has settled and now they can resume normal non-effective service.

  3. Did anyone actually think the policing boost would last after McEntee had her photo op and declared dublin city centre a safe place?

  4. The court system needs to change, it’s far too lenient. Stricter sentencing will see a reduction in crime rates.
Also there needs to be less bureaucracy and support given to the Gardai by their senior officers, not threats of prosecution and suspension for pursuing and trying to apprehend these scum bags.

  5. Tell ya, anyone who gives mcentee a vote next GE is a gobshite

And Leo/ Michael for that matter – completely useless leaders, can’t maintain standards in their parties

The greens aren’t worth talking about

  6. I’m all for giving people a second chance, even a few chances.

But there is something seriously wrong with any society in which people barely old enough to vote can rack up dozens of convictions but are still not locked up for a reasonable length of time.

  7. Good, sure all the crime has been solved, the war on drugs has been won and Mayo finally won another Sam Maguire, well done all 👏👏👏

  8. FFG is just a large PR company at this stage.  They lack the ability to get anything meaningful done.

  9. “Oh noooo, we’ve run out of money from that one million euro investment they made not too long ago… Anyways I’m off to my 5 star hotel for lobster and steak”
