Recompense isn’t enough, it’s not possible to undo some of the damage that’s been done. People need to be in prison over this.
Continually astounded at how evil the post office were and are. It was fucking obvious it was a system error after the first few claims, never mind the next thousand or so.
This is just awful. What those post office fuckers did was evil.
This has been the biggest miscarriage of justice I think that this country has ever faced. And it will continue to be the biggest miscarriage of justice until people are jailed for a very long time for this.
Its an absolute shame that hundreds of peoples lives have been ruined and whilst sending people to prison wont fix what has already happened, it will at least provide closure for those that experienced it and went through years of hell along with sending a very strong message to corporations that their actions due to greed and money will have dire consequences.
Along with the prison sentences for the scumbags that were involved in this the post of and fujitsu should be paying out hundreds and hundreds of millions of pounds out of their pocket as compensation for the damage done.
I implore people to read the article instead of just the headline.
