So I got a message in German from this number today on Whatsapp, saying he was a pimp. I didn’t read fully, I just deleted and blocked. Now I unblocked to do some more checks on the number, and he got back to me. Has anyone received the same message before? What should I do? Should I be worried?

Nope, it’s a US number and a business account. Realistically, if you owe a criminal money and you block them they’ll be at your door soon enough so the fact they’re sending shit like that means it’s nothing to worry about.
Haha imagine they coming over to germany and then find out every car is stick shift.
A rule of thumb: If these threats have no personal info, then its a fake scam.
Everyone who genuinely wants to blackmail someone would at least include your name and adress.
you can write
“du kannst meine Eier lecken” / you can lick my balls.
And block again.
And I’m sure you can get in touch with facebook to delete his access by report them. Actually in germany this whats done is considered a crime..
Block and report, this is stupid scamming. The number is from the Dominican Republic (they also have country code +1).
dont interact and dont fear anything real crimals woulndt scare you over whatsapp
Reverse image search revealed that that video has been used for scams like this in various languages thousands of times: [Link](https://lens.google.com/search?ep=subb&hl=de&re=df&p=AbrfA8oawZ1H42SqFgSdtIxeEo2usQg8Mv0Z2SJs5lcBRaaQ4zdLh5eDr7LIaWRizlP06Gf8_eTbq00rIcShU1_j2vXfQjcqvKjYKncyDNvIxBgpeHb4zH9MmKec0myqvirMGTCZux7YKsx7rod8_QlchDGi7ksUTyUD8ePNN8NR-crS2bhX-XVHHbr-UpQi0bOc65a10Z6KWM9JpFFFc_KcNNVbSBo7Tvfw_jV1QE_tqiftUzv5SyIs-qds-YkjQ50D2dTP9l2S5lsB4T848YR3ZrROTEosx1SsUxqWzsKoVHmez_T25A%3D%3D#lns=W251bGwsbnVsbCxudWxsLG51bGwsbnVsbCxudWxsLDEsIkVrY0tKRGsxTVRoaU1qQTFMV0kxT0RrdE5EaGlOeTA0WldRMUxXWm1ZV0ZtTUdNNU9XVTVaUklmU1RGVlVXYzFXbDlJVlZsWldVUnpaM0puWDBNeFVEUmtjRlZZVGpCU1p3PT0iLG51bGwsbnVsbCxbW251bGwsbnVsbCwiMC0wIl0sWyIxYmExNDU5MC1jNGI3LTQ0MjgtYjZkOC1jNmExNTdiODRjZWUiXV0sbnVsbCxudWxsLG51bGwsW251bGwsbnVsbCxbbnVsbCxbMCwwLDEwMDAwMCwxMDAwMDBdXV1d)
Ask him to come with a schneefraese , there is lot to do today.
It’s US number.
ignore it
Time to call the police. Probably scam bc no pimp would use the formula way to make a threat, but I would at least talk to your nearest police station.
Don’t answer, and take this to the police immediately.
Not in Germany yet but it’s common in the USA, just block, they always send the same video and photos dw. Another one they like to do is send similar ones after you lose your iPhone and they end up with it (purchasing cheap stolen phones), they’ll try to force you into unlocking it via your iCloud saying they’ll leak your info or whatever. Moral of the story is just block bc they can’t do anything anyways
That one appears on /r/scams all the time, usually but not always in the US. Sometimes it seems to be random spam, sometimes the victim had been attempting to contact (fake) prostitutes online.
In either case, real pimps are *not* going to commit pre-announced mass murder on a would-be client for possibly talking to a prostitute.
Stop unblocking the scammers.
