police doing actual policing, you love to see it. Probably because luxury watch theft fairly exclusively affects the rich, right?
Interesting that even when the sting was set and the officers were legging it in – the policeman continued pretending to just be an innocent victim, as oppose to helping the arresting officers.
Possibly to maintain his cover. Or possibly because obviously he had no protection (stab vest, tazer etc) on him.
ALSO did you notice thief one be-friends the victim, then pretends he is trying to defend the victim from the others by putting his arms around him protectively, then suddenly changes in a moment to yanking madly at his rolex now he has the man grabbed!
I bet some of the lefty lawyers defending the so-called “accused” will know Starmer!
Why is this sub all of a sudden filled with right-wing shills?
I mean. They were here, but it was never this bad.
Election year, perhaps?
Someone should do a data analysis of the subs content from the past two elections and use it to predict the date of the next one.
Now, all poor people with casio can walk on Street without fear.
Big balls from the coppers acting as victims there, well played.
Met Police setting up sting operations to catch sexual harassers and get them on a list?
No. Can’t do that.
Met Police setting up sting operations to protect rich people’s watches?
Let us get right on that.
EDIT: I suspect from the downvotes that all of those with “legitimate concerns” about women abused by grooming gangs have logged on.
These young gentlemen must be terrified after being ambushed by the law like that. They are good lads just trying to survive and feed their family in tory Britain. I hope they receive the help they need.

Hopefully those coppers give them a good kicking before bundling them into the van.
Now that’d be cctv worth watching.
Anyone got a link for the video on say youtube or a site that isn’t utterly useless on desktop?
Ah some policing that doesn’t go after the low hanging fruit for once. Well done.
Nice. On a different note, I do not understand why these sting operations are not more widespread. The police need to use them more often.
Channel 4 did a dispatches episode on sexual assaults, and the female presenter went undercover acting drunk in public on two separate nights in London and a city up north. It took literally seconds for the criminals to come up to her.
On the first night, a guy followed her to her hotel room before she dropped the act and confronted him about why he followed a visibly drunk girl to her hotel room, after she repeated said she wasn’t interested in him.
On the second night, if I’m remembering correctly a guy was trying to do the same thing so followed her almost all the way, but was scared off by too many people in the hotel lobby. She went back out that night, and again within seconds a guy appeared and she was actually sexually assaulted this time.
It could genuinely not be easier for the police to arrest these people and make our streets safer for women – these criminals are not intelligent people. All you need is to send out a few female officers out into the public acting drunk and have a few coppers watching her, undercover. When they try anything and like the doc showed they will, and they will within seconds, they can pounce.
It’s so easy, it almost feels like they intentionally want to have our streets filled with criminals.
Surprised they didn’t pull the R card after their arrest or are they saving it for the court case?
About time we did something more pro active about the organised crime in the capital, I’m sure Kahn will speak out against these tactics as racist next week tho
Is it too soon to highlight the demographics of the perpetrators?
##Actual F-ing police work 🙌
Well done to all those officers
