If countries want to increase birth rates they need to either offer a stipend of at least minimum wage for stay at home parents or universal free childcare through the age of 12. Modern societies aren’t set up so having kids is viable with the requirement that both parents work, never mind single parents who are totally screwed.
COL has to dramatically decrease for usb to have babies.
We’re too busy working and not affording shit to worry about having a family
Maybe implement UBI for new parents so they only focus on the kid for a bit. And make it punishable for employers who discriminate for having gaps in work history due to having a kid… idk
The answer is obviously to bring in more Africans.
