Hope it gets a reply. No one should be on their own, especially at gatwick.

  1. VGER due back from it’s trip around the solar system soon then

  2. Hello, I am an escalator expert from Exeter Research Center. Escalators ONLY make this sound when they are in pain. This is NOT amusing, and shouldn’t be shared making light of the situation. Thousands of escalators all over UK are suffering. Nothing is going to change unless people step up and refuse to accept this treatment of escalator. Escalator are intelligent sentient beings who cannot protect themselves the have a RIGHT to happiness and safety

  3. Who else is disappointed they didn’t get to see a whale riding an escalator? 😢

  4. From the title i was expecting a fat woman coming up the escalator

  5. I don’t recall that sound featuring on Brian Eno’s ‘Ambient 1: Music for Airports’.

  6. That’s the sound of me waking up and trying to get out of bed in the morning.

  7. I may have a partner for this one! The escalator in The Core in Leeds sings a different mournful tune, angrier with a sound of burnt.

  8. All we need now is David Attenborough to explain its behaviour

  9. I’m not sure what it’s saying, but it’s upsetting our dog terribly.

  10. Lets hope its not a sperm whale escalator hybrid whos really struggling through nofap January

  11. This needs to be thrown into a rotation of “try not to laugh” clips.

  12. I remember having a floppy, square vinyl “record” that came with a National Geographic magazine with whale song on it. Ive never seen a record in this format again since.

  13. It was the same last night or one of them at Gatwick at least some wd40 should solve all the issues

  14. Sound technician from Star Trek IV wondering why he had to spend so much time in the cold ocean.

  15. Experts say it sings its song in a pitch other escalators can’t hear, so it is destined to ride the wheels of its existence alone, calling out to the void..
