Well somebody is getting sick of the situation finally
Fantastic result
So with enough suppression of Russian air and anti air these could be used with or without the SCALP cruise missiles to take out Kerch Bridge?
For how many months?
Wonder if it is for F16?
A few sources (including this article – for those who didn’t read it) already speculated that this might be AASM “Hammer” bombs. So, not really a missile.
This is closer to the American JDAM kit. The bombs themselves can be different (250kgs, 500kgs, and up).
I also read somewhere (can’t find the link) that France itself has only about 1800 of these kits in service. So 600 over 12 months is a rather big commitment – 30% of their stockpile (if the source that I can’t find was correct).
What can these be used for ideally?
AMRAAM thank you mam?
Conspiracy theory is the US sold some to france in July this year so someone else can pay for them for Ukraine.
Not gonna complain about the numbers it is what it is at this point, every long range weapon is much needed so some encouraging news from both France and the UK this week.
