Wholesome stand at Euston Station

  1. Well meaning, but perhaps not the most hygenic solution (versus just donating the stuff to charity to be washed and organised).

  2. The worst thing about this. You will get people who could afford a new coat to take them as there are a lot of selfish people in the world. The worst I saw was a food stall. It was set up to help the homeless. Two people turned up and just cleared the table and walked off. They weren’t homeless. Disgusting.

  3. Hopefully it will be used in the way it was intended for people truly in need

  4. They should run an opposite one in summer: leave some clothing if you’re hot, take some clothing to help out.

  5. This was a lot less full when I walked past it about 40 mins ago… I hope it went to a good cause

  6. Not to be a pedant, but this isn’t paying it forward. If anything its the definition of paying it nowhere

  7. A nice way of making good use of coats that get forgotten on trains!
