Hey,
Me and my fiance are coming to visit your wonderful country 3.03-9.03. I’ve lurked around this subbreddit for a while and read other travel posts and googled a bit but I thought that asking here would be easier.
We arrive at Larnaca airport.
First I obviously need to take a car to travel around because public transport isn’t really good. I’ve never driven on the left side before but I’ll take an automatic and probably will get used to the driving in a day (at least I hope lol). How is the traffic?

Second is the accommodation. Was browsing through [Booking.com](https://Booking.com) and saw many Villas available for a pretty cheap price for 6 nights.(around 100eur per night). But then again hotels would be more convenient with at least breakfast and probably can find some with more options even though the hotel list was pretty small when I added the things I want.
So my main question is that are the pools on the villas heated? (I put heated pool on the list in booking but I have my doubts) And also location wise: If I book a villa I’ll book it for the whole trip but is it a smart idea because we wanna probably visit all bigger cities and stuff eg. staying somewhere around Limassol in a villa and then driving to other places. But with hotels could probably go for 3 nights in Paphos for example and 4 in Limasssol/Larnaca.
And also can you recommend some decent hotels so I can compare the location and amenities between villas and hotels. (or if someone owns a villa and wants to rent it out let me know)

Thirdly I know that in March there isn’t really much going on but are the restaurants and pubs still open at least for like til 11PM so we can get dinner and couple of drinks after a day of activities? We aint interested in partying and clubbing so that’s not an issue.

Fourth- the weather. According to Google you had a pretty warm weather last year at the same time. Obviously this year might be different but how’s the weather usually around that time. In the evenings we probably need jackets and not shorts right? And should probably bring a jacket for rain also or is that not a problem?

I know it’s a really long post with some stupid questions but thanks to all in advance who care to read it through and give some tips!

I can answer the pool part.
March is a weird month for heated pools. Heat pumps are most efficient when its over 25C when they are working and to retain the heat they need to be covered at night. If they dont have a cover or its windy and its bellow 20C for most of the 24h It would cost an arm and a leg just to keep it moderately warm 26-28C. Even if the property has a heated pool chances are the owner is not heating it in March.
If you are after chilling in a pool I would suggest a nice hotel , most 5 stars have fair prices In march you could get a suite and enjoy their indoor pool.
Following, planning on coming there next week. Not sure what is there to do in Jan. Any rental companies that you can recommend?
