Netanjahu sagte, er habe den USA mitgeteilt, dass er in jedem Szenario nach dem Krieg zwischen Israel und der Hamas gegen einen palästinensischen Staat sei

  1. That clown has responded to this conflict in the exact way hamas wants him too. With the PA strapped for cash and west bank men not having jobs another intifada seems pretty much guranteed. I don’t care what anybody else thinks Netanyahu and his fascist coalition are scum and no better than hamas

  2. At this point we must admit as we’ve always known that this war from October 7th into now January going into February has been Netanyahu’s way to stay in power and avoid the consequences of the intelligence failure, the military failure, and the political failure of his government as well as the Government of Israel’s as a whole.

So far we’ve heard of no progress on the release of the hostages. We’ve only seen more acts of aggression and acts of war atrocities caused by both parties and at this point the goodwill Israel had in the beginning of this conflict in October is spent and dry.

Without a serious effort towards peace, Israel and the Palestinians will only suffer.

  3. There is absolutely zero indication that a Palestinian state will be anything but Gaza 2.0 and not become a huge Iranian-influenced fortress of terror. Americans can take that risk from far away, Israelis can’t.

And this coming from Netanyahu hater and an active protestor against him in the past year.

  4. Now there’s a surprise.

He needs to maintain his terrorist factory.

  5. Look, say what you want about this scum, but i yet to see one map in Gaza that has two states on it

  6. It has been obvious for years that Netanyahu is the problem. I don’t understand why he still has power.

  7. Shockingly, a guy tenuously holding on to power due to the outbreak of a war doesn’t want to create conditions that would prevent war

  8. The Oct 7 attacks have pushed back any possibility of peace and two state solution few decades. Hamas knew this very well.

  9. Netanyahu needs to go. He should not be dictating the future of Israel.

  10. What was Netanyahu’s position on statehood before the war?

  11. How can there be peace with Iran doing what it’s doing? A Palestinian state would just be Gaza all over again with Iran dictating everything behind the scenes.

  12. Been watching the Middle East since November 1979, when, as an 11yo, I watched Americans being taken as hostages and brutalized. It was eye opening for sure.

IMO. There is no acceptable solution to all parties in this issue. Nearly everything there is fucked up beyond all possible recognition. Each side needs entirely new leadership which isn’t gonna happen easily and probably not peacefully.

Good Luck to everyone but a large scale Middle East war is coming this year. The war in Europe may expand as a consequence as well as a much anticipated hot war in the far western Pacific just might kick off in all the confusion.

    2024 will be interesting.

  13. Hamas and Netanyahu are each other’s best friends, and each the other’s best excuse for their corruption

  14. A peace / ceasefire deal that includes statehood looks like a very juicy reward for the terrorists. So I vote no, for the time being.

Considering Palestinians still overwhelmingly support terror in both Gaza and the West Bank, I also vote no – for the time being.

There’s no reason to think statehood would change their singular wish to deny and undo the existence of a Jewish state in any part of the middle east.

  15. Give the Israelis a chance to vote him out after the war, then start freezing loans and shit until they stop settlements and move toward a good faith effort to build a Palestinian state.

  16. Well he’s not going to change from what he always believed, so…

    Netanyahu must leave. Good god.

  17. I mean obviously a Palestinian state is out of the question at the moment. The October 7 attacks have unfortunately proven what would happen. Perhaps an Israeli protectorate with limited self governance. No armies no navies, no Airforce, no gendarmerie. Perhaps the police can be allowed a handgun.

  18. Ok, then Palestinians need to be integrated into the Israeli state then and given full rights as Israeli citizens. If two separate states is not viable, then this becomes the inevitable end state of Israel/Palestine.

  19. The US needs to bring back an old classic, Israel is looking ripe for a regime change

  20. Palestinian statehood is not possible. Call Bibi a fascist all you want but the majority of Israelis agree with this. Palestinians had a chance to prove to the world they were able to take the necessary steps to achieve statehood in Gaza and they squandered it, instead opting to use their opportunity to kill Jews.

  21. Is what the Israelis doing considered “ethnic cleansing”? When they take Palestinian land, forcing families to vacate neighborhoods, isn’t that an international crime of some sort?

  22. I would say it makes sense to not immediately give them a state post war since they need to be deradicalize but that should definitely be apart of long term plan

  23. Land-grabbing, genocidal maniac. May his final days be more painful than Sharon’s.

  24. He’s been actively working against it for decades so no surprise there

  25. Reddit is such an incredible site. One of if not the most complex problems in contemporary geopolitics but there are hundreds of experts right here on Reddit that can solve it from their phones while they take a dump.

Truly we’re all blessed to be surrounded by such brilliance.

  26. Well it’s a good thing he’s not gonna be in office for much longer after
