EuroCity towards Basel, in Brig? That train is coming from Italy, so it’s actually Trenitalia’s fault :p

^(I saw the delay and immediately checked if it was an EC coming from Italy. This is not uncommon)
+75 means take the next possible train.
Hakuna matata
This is SOP for any train coming from Italy. Or any train in Italy for that matter. In fact I often count on this late train in winter coming back from Wallis on the weekends sometimes for a quicker trip home. If it has ever arrived on time, I’ve not seen it.
Is this new to you?
First time?
I used to take this train every Wednesday evening after I finished the classes I taught in Brig and it was late like this most of the time. It was the entire reason why I rearranged the schedule for 20 kids and moved my classes much earlier in the afternoon. I hope this is your first and last meeting xD
I have never seen the EC from Italy arrive on time. Many times I see replacement trains running in its place.
Did happen to be on the IC8 which left Brig at 17:48?
Is that the EC from Milano? +75 is actually almost early!
At least it’s not cancelled…
Last month I was waiting for train from zug to arth goldau. It arrived 15 minutes late, then we all get on and it drives about 100 meters and stops. Then we all have to sit and wait for 20 minutes and then finally reverses back to zug.
Happens more frequently with international trains. Since this is an Eurocity train from Italy integrated into the hourly schedule, I’m pretty sure there was a replacement train an hour earlier anyway.
Covid is happening
Ok have there been plagues of frogs and locusts recently? Have War, Famine and Pestilence been released? This is a sign of the apocalypse.
