Seriously, one thing that makes my blood boil is child abuse and elderly abuse.. could not watch the vid.

When you lower the working quality this is what happens.
Not surprising. This isn’t the first camera exposé and won’t be the last and it is always the same.
I really don’t want to get old and infirmed.
And this is why we need the right to die. This will never stop
Even the still image makes me feel sick to my stomach
I couldn’t handle this job, squirming around whilst you are trying to change the nappy of an adult toddler that is getting its mess all over you, all for minimum wage. Takes a special kind of person to do this job because they love it.
As someone said already, the carers are a product of the broken care system. The carers see the elderly as nothing but animals. I hope I die long before I end up like that.
The care home I work in has mass imported a load of Nigerian people and some of the levels of care is absolutely appalling.
I’ve been there 3 months and already had to pull up people for forging documents (saying they’d offered dinner to somebody who was currently in hospital), pulling an old woman down a corridor at about double the speed she can walk at, using illegal lifts and people handling (resulted in a lovely little lady getting her arm tore up by a radiator).
I hate to say it but I wasn’t heavily surprised at the very Nigerian names listed in this. I don’t know what the incentive is for employers to employ these people
This is why my sister stopped working in care. She would report stuff like this all the time, the management just doesn’t care though.
