  1. You know what judges just love? Commands from attorneys. Works every time. They love it even more when it’s bookended by halted proceedings clearly stemming from a total lack of competency or decorum. This girl really knows how to charm the court.

  2. Trump has always been more about looks than substance.

  3. She’s not wrong. She would 100% not be Trumps lawyer if she wasn’t decent looking

  4. Her first law and only other law job was given to her by her husband, and I’m just short of implying that he “helped” her pass the bar

  5. To be fair, I assume all of the women in Trump’s orbit have to fake it…and probably all fail.

  6. “Would you rather be pretty or smart?”

“Oh, pretty! I can fake being smart.”

    no you can’t

  7. You’ve got to be pretty dumb to think that you can fake being smart.

  8. He knows his case is indefensible, so he opts for an inexperienced, unqualified lawyer who will say the bizarre stuff that will help him win maga solidarity outside the court, in order to better muster another mob for the next coup attempt when he loses to Biden again.

  9. If she’s pretending to be smart, she’s not a very good actress

  10. I wonder if Trump has promised her he’d leave Melania for her yet?

  11. Didn’t think she was hired for her legal skills..

  12. She can fake being smart to other people that don’t know better or uneducated.

  13. What’s terrifying is if Trump is re-elected, she will be appointed to a lifelong position as a federal judge.

  14. Trump only hires “the best people”. Too funny.

  15. I don’t understand why this woman and her syphilitic client get special treatment. Had this been anybody else we’d be in contempt, and in jail with several thousand dollars worth of fines being paid to the court. Lock these pieces of shit away!

  16. There is that old joke: MAGA =Making Attorneys Get Attorneys

In this scenario (civil case) Trump won’t be able to appeal based on ineffective counsel. However, he can sue Alina for malpractice.

So he loses $20m; and he sue’s her for $100m (his costs and reputational damage). Hope her insurance is paid up and not exclude this client.

  17. Wonder if he grabbed her by the 🐱yet. They let you do anything when you’re a star.

  18. Trump found her at Bottom-Of-the-Barrel-Attorneys-R-Us.com.

  19. > After a further attempt of the latter on Wednesday, Ms Habba was issued a sharp rebuke from Judge Kaplan. She responded by asking the judge not to speak to her in that way.

    > “I don’t like to be spoken to that way. And we are going to be here for several days,” she said. “I am asking your honour to please refrain from speaking to me in that manner.”

    The audacity, holy shit 👀

    > Discussing her looks, Ms Habba said: “I don’t think I’d be on TV or sitting here if I didn’t look the way I look.

True IMO. I always figured that was a big part of why Trump hired her.

  20. She’s probably having a hard time fooling people into thinking she’s smart, because as it turns out, she’s not really that pretty.

  21. Habba: “If you can’t dazzle them with diamonds, baffle them with bullshit.”

    Judge: “Don’t even start”

And once again: We’re all just waiting for her to be disbarred and start an Onlyfans page.

  22. Current odds on if she is playing with Trumps mushroom? Or maybe he hasn’t fired her because no one else will take the job at this point?

  23. As my great aunt would say, “Aw honey, it’s a good thing you’re pretty.”

  24. “I don’t know how to try this case, your honor.”

    Funniest sentence of the week.

  25. The best part is she is probably not getting paid by this deadbeat clown.

  26. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, yes. But I think she has a grossly inflated sense of her looks

  27. It’s wild that Trump has such a poor reputation amongst the law community that

    1. No reputable lawyer will represent him because *they know THEY WILL NOT GET PAID*

    2. No reputable lawyer , even if they got paid which they won’t, is willing to represent him because that will be the last job they take as a reputable lawyer.

The law community knows what America doesn’t apparently.

  28. Looking forward to that face she’s most definitely going to make when she realizes Trump is going to throw her under the bus and never had plans to pay her.

  29. Statement from Kellog’s: “She sure as shit didn’t get her law degree in a box of our Corn Flakes. Must have been some store brand Grain Shreds.”

  30. I’m thinking Trump did his homework when he hired this attorney.

I’d even go so far as to say he picked this one because she would botch the case. Why is this important?

So Trump can blame everything on her.

It’s very tragic that I’m the only one that sees this play.
