Absurd to think Russia would start a fight with NATO, it would be suicide and complete political annihilation for the existing Russian administration.
They should invite Russia to participate as well.
I bet 90,000 NATO troops will make Putin cream his pants. NATO needs 1/10 the troops ruzzia does for the same task. And the task would get completed ahead of schedule without any war crimes .

This is very helpful for Ukraine, because it will force Russia to withdraw 40-50k soldiers from Ukraine and put them on guard duty within Russia. They will also have to bring some of their air defense systems, tanks, artillery, and aircraft away from the front lines.
Remember that Russia uses the excuse of “training exercises” as a prelude to invasions, so they don’t trust that this is a real training exercise. Putin is afraid that NATO is using this as a pretext to build up an invasion force and attack Russia.
When Russia pulls back some troops to deal with this, that could create opportunities for Ukraine to take out more lightly defended areas or regain land.
90,000 seems a bit on the light side. 300,000 would send a message.
can the exercise be held in Donbas or Crimea maybe? Simulate taking back occupied territory?
