Japan earthquake relief hampered by winter weather | DW News

One week after the earthquake in Japan, relief efforts are being hampered by bad weather conditions. Many are still homeless or cut-off from electricity and water.

The main problem are the replics, help n soldiers are not able to get there before the replics happens so nothing is enough, i have a friend n his family over there in Ishikawa the situation is terrible. And tsunami is not only 10 or 20 feet waves, no no, tsunami can be less than a feet but is terrible because is snowing n the water entering is frozen, no electric power no warm clothes because everything is wet…idk really is awful 😔💔

  2. Wouldn’t it be more effective to airdrop supplies over the affected areas? I’d assume there would be enough young enough people left who then could help spread the supplies
