A positive signal amidst negative signals on Russia-USA summit, wonder how the situation is going to develop.
It is very important for Ukraine to end the war, because as long as the war officially continues, it is a perfect pretext for politicians for avoiding reform and real competition. “There is war, nothing can be done” is an excellent explanation for the country’s bad economic results. This pretext can only be removed by ending the war. However, it is unlikely that this is possible because the Russians are not expected to leave Crimea.

Too little too late. He’s paralyzed. If he makes any significant concessions the Ukranians are gonna drag him through the streets, and if he doesn’t Putin is gonna invade.
Something has to give, and I think there’s gonna have to be a new war before any breakthrough can be made diplomatically.
Don’t need another meeting. Ukraine and the Rebels already have one, just implement that.
