Blinne Ní Ghrálaigh, an adviser to South Africa’s legal team, said the international community had failed Palestinians despite ‘dehumanising, genocidal rhetoric’ by Israeli governmental officials, praising South Africa for initiating proceedings against Israel at the international court of justice. Ghrálaigh told the court that this was ‘the first genocide in history where its victims are broadcasting their own destruction in real time in the desperate so far vain hope that the world might do something’.

    Israel fights back against it's worst ever terror attack and gets vilified. This doesn't mean I support everything Israel is doing but I question those hypocrites who single Israel out

  17. It beggars belief that in a 30 minute speech Blinne Ní Ghrálaigh not once mentioned the genocidal pogrom by Hamas which launched Israel's response. How can a lawyer of international standing omit mentioning this and even admit it was an abhorrent and inhuman act? Only then could she have the moral right to explain the case against Israel.

  36. This is great. Once the Commission rules against Israel, they can send someone to pick up Netanyahu. At the same time they can grab Putin, who has been dodging the arrest warrant the ICC issued for him way back in March of 2023.
