Headline is wrong and misleading. Article cited states it is an appeal to individual Catholics themselves. The Catholic Church can’t legally take a stand for a particular party or candidate as it would jeopardize their tax-feee status. If the powers that be ever enforced it, that is.

You can address Bishops as “Fathers” or “Bishops”. As in “Dear Fathers,” or “Dear Bishops”. “Dear Jerkass” will never be seen. “Father” is not an indicator of your religious stance; it is simply how priests are addressed.
I focused on what Trump has said about immigrants, because it is the antithesis of Christian belief. Jesus was an immigrant. I ended by asking them not to endorse.
Why are we discussing church and state in same sentences? Religion needs to get out of politics – or risk losing their 501c3 status!
