  3. Really don’t understand the proportional response tactic against the Houthis if they are not a legit recognized government. Why not just conduct decapitation strikes against their leadership and work down the chain of command?

  6. If you want this to stop we are bombing the wrong country.

    Once Iran starts paying a price domestically they will order the attacks to stop. Need to hit them extremely hard, 1. Take out one of the underground bases used to refine uranium ( they think we can’t )
    2. Shot down one of their transport planes when high ups are in the air
    3. Seize every oil tanker leaving their ports to turn off the flow of money

  7. The Houthis started this fight and have no intention of backing down.

    Just send in a fleet of B-52s packed to the brim full of “dumb” bombs, locate the village they hide in, and then perform a live action re-enactment of Operation Linebacker 2.

    Rinse and repeat until the rockets stop.

  11. I mean, I see little issue with this. It’s like a great big game of Whack-a-Mole, and as long as we are replacing the munitions out of domestic production (and thus circulating the cost within our own economy) we don’t exactly lose anything.

    The alternative is to let them touch the boats, which, yeah, no. Nobody touches the boats. Historically, the US and UK have gone to war over people touching our boats more than any other Cassus Belli… well, the US has at least.

  17. The Houthis are a bump on a log. Attacking them did nothing but give them credibility. I’m sure the superpowers of the world have the tact and resources to unite and secure shipping vessels. This tit for tat strategy does nothing but escalate things. Having said that, It would have been nice to see Israel show some restraint and focus on retrieving hostages instead of the emotional counter attacks. Show the world the true face of Hamas as murderous rapists
